Combined to the fact that they are the most popular beaches in the country, this region displays a vast amount of volcanos; among them: Orosi, Rincón de la Vieja, Miravalles and Tenorio, where a spectacular amount of biodiversity can be admired. There, we must continue by the North Inter-American freeway, we must pass by the towns of Barranca, San Gerardo, Barrio Jesús, San Miguel, Jabilla, Cañas, Corobicí, Montenegro, Bagaces and Salto, until arriving at Liberia. </p> <p align="justify"> <strong>Arenal - Guanacaste:</strong> If we are in la Fortuna, we will take the route #142, and we will pass through La Palma and Mata de Caña. When arriving at Arenal, we go down until Tronadora; soon we will be seeing Tilarán, Pueblo Nuevo and, once we arrive at Cañas, we will take the freeway # 1, Inter-American North, then, we will go through Bagaces, Pejibaye and Juanilama, until arriving to Liberia, well-known as "the White City". </p> <p align="justify"><strong>Monteverde - Guanacaste:</strong> If we are in Monteverde and we wished to travel to Liberia, we must take the route # 619 towards Río Chiquito de Nubes; soon, we will reach Cabecera de Cañas and, later, Barrio Segundo de Tilarán, until arriving to Tilarán downtown, where we must turn to the route # 142 going to Pueblo Nuevo and Cañas, we will be approaching to the freeway # 1, the Inter-American North, which will takes us next to Bagaces, Pejibaye and
