Brisas De La Jungla

Located: Blanco river (White river), Liverpool in Limón.

Duration: 1 ½ hours

Description: If you want an adrenaline rush then this is the tour for you! Glide through the treetops with this exhilarating adventure: 12 cables and 13 platforms stretched across the length of the rain forest. The longest cable is 270m long and you will experience heights up to 80m. Here you can enjoy the gripping thrill of the wind in your face as you soar through the rain forest witnessing some of the most spectacular views.
The platforms are arranged at different heights and levels of excitement. Up to platform 5, all cables are of similar length, however after this platform, the cables become even more thrilling. Here those people who would like to give up and return to the lodge may do so. This opportunity is also offered at platform 7. For those of you who enjoy the thrill, its go, go, go, all the way to platform 13. All our tour guides are expertly trained in first aid, and carry special packs to assist them in the event of an emergency to administer the required attention. The Zip line tour begins with an orientation chat where the rules and regulations for safety and security are explained thoroughly. The orientation chat is very important and it is imperative that all advice is adhered to throughout the tour. Original Canopy Tour

Located: in the west coast from Limón downtown in Liverpool.

Duration: 1 ½ - 2 hours.

Description: There is no experience necessary for this amazing experience as our highly trained professional system operators will explain everything you need to now before you start the tour. You will then glide silently through the rainforest on our patented dual line safety system over streams and through the canopy level of the rainforest. You will have the opportunity of seeing uninterrupted views of virgin rainforest which stretches as far as the eye can see as this private reserve neighbors the largest park in Central America, called the Friendship Park which straddles the border between Costa Rica and Panama. After passing 9 traverses (the longest being almost 2 football fields in length) over the jungle floor (the highest point is about 150 feet above the forest floor) you will be returned safely back to the ground. After a short walk through the jungle you will return to the reception area where you can find refreshments and souvenirs to remind you of your once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Crazy Monkey

Description: Come to The Crazy Monkey Canopy Tour and feel your adrenaline rising up in your body, come and get on “The Crazy Monkey Canopy Tour”. Experience watching the jungle from the top of the trees in our zip line cable system of the platforms and ride amongst the forest till you get your feet on the golden sand beach!! Here is where the jungle meets the ocean. Our guides will take care of you and they will keep you safe at all the time. This is a great place for magnificent views from the tree tops while you are on the platforms and also walking in our bridges in some of the tracks. This is an opportunity to see the jungle from another perspective and surely you will have the chance to watch some wildlife from above and your guide can tell you about the different species that might appear, but even more amazing it will be to see the Natura Park with a Bribri Indian Village from above where an aborigine family lives in a very traditional way with the typical thatch buildings. A snack at Almonds and Corals Lodge is included. Enjoy the surroundings of Almonds and Corals Lodge, its forests, its fauna, its beach. Back to your hotel at 1:00 p.m.

Terraventura

Located: in front of the bus station in Puerto Viejo, Limón

Duration: 4 hours.

Description: After picking you up at your hotel, we leave in the direction of the farm (Carbon 1) situated 30 minutes from Puerto Viejo. The driver will leave you at the first platform. Behind two cables from the entrance of the farm, we will enjoy one of the most spectacular cables (285 meters at 80 meters altitude). This will carry us directly to the heart of the forest where we will begin a guided walk by one of our nature guides, becoming acquainted with the flora and the fauna of the primary forest such as how indigenous community utilizes these plants. After the hike we arrive at another platform to continue our adventure. Our Canopy is done by 9 aerial platforms and 14 on land counting 2560 meters of cable. From the moment we climb to the 8th platform, we will not return to touch the ground until the final run at which time we will cross with a bird’s eye view of the jungle. Our nature guide will take advantage to continue explaining on each platform the curiosities which are found in the environment. On the highest platform we will take a break, where you will be served the fruits and drinks. At the end of the aerial run, we have the possibility to make a descend from the last platform rappelling, by a Tarzan swing or by a cable to the ground. After this we begin the return, leaving for the two most spectacular cables.

Senderos Aéreos Del Tortuguero

Located: 5 minutes from the main entrance of Tortuguero National Park, in the north coast, Tortuguero, Limón.

Description: We are the hosts of the first Canopy located in the exuberant zone of Tortuguero a few minutes of the National Park Tortuguero, come with us and enjoy an incredible adventure trough the canopy of the trees in the middle of the forest from a different perspective. Our Canopy allows you and all the members of your family to go from tree to tree in a safety way and entertainment at the same time, through a cable at the top of the rainy tropical forest. The Tour lasts approximately one hour and half, our equipment are safe and certified by the European Union, the manuals of security are approved by the I.C.T (Costa Rica Tourism Board) and we counted with the corresponding policies for the activity. Our infrastructure is compound of 11 platforms, 4 suspension bridges, 7 cables, 1 shot of Tarzan, and a scaling wall.

Selva Bananito Lodge

Located: North Bananito, Caribbean coast, Limón.

Duration: 2-3 hours.

Description: This tour combines a rare opportunity to view the primary rainforest from our 100-foot high platform and the adrenaline rush of zipping out to it. Our cables and equipment exceed the highest safety standards in Costa Rica and are designed to allow guests of all ages enjoy this highly popular activity. Hike half an hour through open fields and into the rainforest on part of our Natural History trail to get to the jumping off point. Then get strapped in, hold on, and enjoy the ride! Cedar valley

Located: 1km. after cross the Banano river bridge on route to María Luisa, Limón.

Duration: 1 ½ hours.

Description: Esta aventura de viajar por entre los árboles es simple y sencillamente extraordinaria; en donde se tiene un contacto extremo con el bosque.  En este recorrido además de visitar la parte media y alta del bosque vivirás la experiencia de descender  desde lo alto de una montaña entre los árboles, apreciando las vistas que ofrece el recorrido combinando con la adrenalina ingrediente que hace de este tour algo inolvidable. Rancho Cedar Valley cuenta con  un sensacional Canopy con certificación del I.C.T y certificación internacional, ocho cables con doble cable en cada uno de ellos para mayor seguridad, además de sistema de freno en las plataformas hace que los pasajeros disfruten con seguridad. Este Canopy quedo concebido con ocho recorridos en donde 4 secciones de más de 220 mts de largo y el más largo y sensacional de 503 mts. con una elevación de 70 mts del suelo, cruza sobre un codo del río Banano. Secret of The Jungle

Located: Tortuguero, in the north coast of Limón.

Description: Este es un maravilloso, y emocionante manera de gastar algunas horas y $35 dólares.  Es un tour por los árboles en los cielos de la jungla por medio de varios cables y puentes.  Puede ver la vida de la selva por 25 metros encima del suelo.  El equipaje es de profesionales, y las plataformas y cables son muy seguros.  Los guías son muy serviciales y tienen mucha experiencia y conocimiento.  Se les hace sentir más cómodo volando entre el baldaquín.  Entonces si tiene más de 5 años, y quiere un estremecimiento, pruébalo.
