inside Monteverde, Santa Elena, and a coffee, sugar cane and
banana plantation. Enjoy the pleasure of horse-back riding the
surroundings of the Park.

 Sabine Smiling Horses

Description: Monteverde
offers an ideal climate for horses. It is fresh and green all year
round. For horseback riding, the local Campesino trails are the
best, going through farmland & cloud forest, besides offering
stunning views of the gulf of Nicoya or Volcano Arenal on the
other side of the Continental divide. I am attending all riding
guests on arrival for a horseback riding briefing. I speak fluent
English, French, Spanish and German. Local guides will take you
around the countryside. On and off during the year we have
bilingual volunteers guiding as well. I also like take
beginners and help them loose their fears. I adapt the tours
in the country site and chose the horses according to their
character and the level of experience of the rider. I have
children saddles, helmets and Ponies for half grown ups, very safe
and comfortable for them. Smallest children ride with the guide or
the parents, if they wish.

Description: This
tour begins at our facilities where our receptionist will gladly
welcome and help you with all necessary requirements and
formalities to participate of this tour. Then we will transfer to
the area where the horses are, so that tourist can familiarize
with them, and where the bilingual guide will teach the adequate
techniques to control the horse along the tour. We
will depart and go through private trails and public low transited
roads until are approximate 2 hour ride has been completed. Along the tour you’ll be able to observe the abundant flora
and fauna richness, native to the region, which is really
peculiar, since it is placed right on the continental division
this will allow us spectacular views of Nicoya gulf and on clear
days, we can also watch the Arenal lake and volcano. half a way
through the tour we will have a small break to rest and take
pictures, then we will continue among trails and farms of the
villagers until we get back to100% Aventura facilities to return
the horses and the gear used , here we will thank you for joining
us and will wait for you again.
