Pacífico Sur

Aventuras Tropicales

Located: Golfo Dulce, Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas.

Duration: 3 hours.

Description: From the Sándalo beach the kayak adventure begins towards the reef, there are approximately 3 hours available to explore reefs along coast, you will see beautiful tropical fish, rays, morays and great variety of mollusks. The guide will show the of reefs in Golfo Dulce  and you will be able to discover the importance of these ecosystems for the life in the sea.  After the reefs will paddle until some beach in the way to prepare a light lunch, that of course will include tropical fruits. There is also a second option for the reef adventure, is paddling the hole way until the reef. We are going to stop in any beach to have a lunch and the follow the way until Puerto Jimenez. Description: Rincon River is great for bird watching. We cross the Rincon Bay where we will dock to see our first waterfall. We can do some light rock climbing here and walk in a beautiful riverbed. We paddle along the coast from here on and stop to explore deserted beaches and trails that lead into the forest. Snorkeling at small reefs along the way is possible. We always stop to explore the mysterious "Mogos Islands " (said to hold buried pirate treasure and Indian burial grounds).

Caribbean Coast

Located: in Puerto Viejo, Talamanca, in the south Caribbean coast, Limón.

Duration: 5 hours.

Description: Calm and easy river, no experience necessary. Travel by car to the village of Suretka, deep in the Bribri Indigenous Reserve. After an orientation on kayaks and river safety, float downs the jungle river, enjoying sweeping mountain views along the way. Soon the river becomes the border between Costa Rica and Panama. We will stop on the Panama side to stretch and enjoy a light lunch. Then the final run of river ending in Bribri.

Turrialba Pacuare

Duration: 3 hours.

Description: The Pejibaye River is a beautiful class II and III rapid river located about thirty minutes from Turrialba. We will go down six kilometers of the river in the small inflatable kayaks which are perfect for navigating and exploring the class II and III rapids in the river. Each ducky fits one to two people so you will go down the river with a guide in the ducky with you to help you better navigate and enjoy the river and ensure a safe and fun-filled adventure. It is a perfect tour to enjoy with all of the family. The adventure begins about 45 minutes outside of Turrialba where your guide will first give you a safety talk to orient you to the equipment and teach you the commands you will need to use on the river. After practicing all the commands and drills, you will begin your kayaking experience! You will help the river guide maneuver the ducky by paddling and following his/her instructions. As you are paddling down the river you will enjoy the surrounding landscapes of the river which include rolling coffee and sugar cane plantations, a variety of wildlife, and the cool, refreshing water of the Pejibaye River.
