What’s
the best place to dive?
Any
Costa Rican coast could be considered as apt to practice diving.
Thus, regardless the place you visit to dive, you will find a vast
variety of marine species. However, the Pacific holds clearer waters
and better immersions if we compare them with the ones at the
Caribbean coast.
Which
coast holds greater amount of species of coral reef?
The
Caribbean cost embraces the longest coral reef in the country;

formation of coral.
On
the other hand, the Pacific does not have as much amount of corals as
the Caribbean, but, in compensation, in its waters abound big fish,

Can
I do the canopy tour if it’s raining?
Rain
is not an impediment to take the Canopy tour; but if the rain is
accompanied of very strong winds and electrical storm, it becomes
necessary to suspend the tour or to evacuate, in order to prevent any
incident.
A
3 year old boy can do canopy?
He
could hardly make it, because the person at the canopy must have the
necessary knowledge to accept simple orders of control. In addition,
the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism stipulates that children must be
at least 7 years old to perform this activity.
Is
the canopy safe?
A
canopy system can not operate within the Costa Rican tourist market
unless it has been guaranteed by the I.C.T. (Costa Rican Institute of
Tourism), which determines the security and quality of the
contingency handlings.
Nevertheless,
there are companies that operate without the corresponding
permissions, reason why we advise you to always make sure the company
has the mentioned endorsement before practicing canopy.
What
I should take with me to do rafting?
The
accessories you must always have with you are the ones for personal
use; this because all equipment to go through the activity will be
given to you by the operating company.
It
is recommended to use shoes with rubber sole (not those for hiking),
bathing suit made of a dry - fast material, waterproof sun block, a
hat or pañoleta for the sun, sunglasses with strip, a towel
and additional clothes to wear after the tour.
