Colinas Del Poás

Ubicación: 900 metros norte de Fraijanes, Sabanilla, Alajuela.

Descripción: The Poás Canopy Tour is the most popular adventure tour in the mountain. It follows a set of rigid quality standards and safety rules, according to international standards. With 24 platforms in the major trees, an extraordinary trail has been designed above the canopy forest. The tour, of approximately two hours, is an experience filled with excitement and joy, in which the visitor performs a journey through the treetops on fourteen cables suspended high above the jungle trails, with the help and under the supervision of highly qualified and professional personnel. Canopy Adventure San José de La Montaña

Ubicación: en las faldas del volcán Barva, Heredia.

Duración: 4 ½ horas.

Descripción: One hundred percent costarican, a family owned business, with over 1400 acres out of which 700 are primary forest, Canopy Adventure is an eco-tourism project part of a program for forest protection and sale of oxygen. The Canopy Adventure is only 30 minutes from the airport and 45 from down town San José, located in the nearest cloud forest from the central valley and at the foot the Barva Volcano. Because of the short drive to us, Canopy Adventure is a half day tour with aproximate duration of 4 and half hours. We have thirteen platforms, eleven of those are constructed around gigantic oak trees, the zip lines made of galvanized stainless steel cables go from 60 to 600 feet most of them flying along the tree tops and some going on top of 60 feet tall waterfalls. During the tour you also take short walks on elevated trails that join the platforms together and you will also be passing inside the hollow trunk of an old strangulating ficus tree.

Canopy San Lorenzo / Lands In Love

Ubicación: En San Lorenzo de San Ramón, por sobre la ruta 272, carretera San Ramón y La Fortuna. Alajuela.

Duración: 2 horas.

Descripción: Two hours tour on zip lines above and between giant tree tops. The guides, professionals, experienced and bilingual are ICT approved and certified. The installations built by civil and forestall engineers are approved by ICT and inspected on a regular basis according to the law. The tour starts at the highest point of a 500 acres resort; the guides will gird you with top safety harness and the best climbing gear available. After explanations on safety conduct, you will walk to the first platform, enjoying the view of the hidden cloud forest valley. Nine cables connecting to ten platforms on giant trees (total of an 845m) will lead you safely above the cloud forest, giving you the opportunity to witness the complexity and harmony of the jungle bio diversity. In between, you will cross two hanging bridges, walk through three jungle trails and experience the thrill of the Tarzan swing. The tour is adventuresome and fits all ages.

Aventuras La Carpintera

Ubicación: San Vicente de Tres Ríos, Cartago.

Descripción: Esta excelente combinación ofrece; Una cabalgata, caminatas por senderos, rapell y la desafiante aventura del deslizamiento por cables. Venga con nosotros y experimente una de las modalidades de observar y disfrutar de forma segura el Bosque Húmedo Premontano de los Cerros De La Carpintera. El tour inicia con una hermosa cabalgata de aproximadamente 30-40 minutos dentro de un bosque húmedo durante el trayecto se les explicará charlas sobre el bosque y la vida del mismo. Luego de la llegada a la plataforma iniciaremos la aventura de deslizarnos por 1800 metros de cable dividido entre 13 trayectos de diferentes distancias, 20 plataformas. Entre éstas plataformas disfrutarán de dos descensos por rapell y caminaremos un trayecto de 300 metros. La experiencia termina con un snack en nuestro restaurante Hacienda Chirraca donde compartirán las anécdotas y se presentarán videos con la actuación de los mismos participantes.

Rain Forest

Ubicación: 5 km. después del río Sucio en el Parque Nacional Braulio Carrillo. Sobre la auto pista hacia Limón.

The exhilarating canopy tour takes you flying across the magnificent Molinete River several times. Walk trails lead you deep into the rainforest floor. You will be strapped in safe top-quality gear specifically designed for this canopy tour. Constructed with twin cables and a double pulley system. All this immerse at and part of the Rain Forest Aerial Tram Park, a real sanctuary that protects the rainforest and its intense biodiversity within a 475-hectare (1,200-acre) private reserve. The exhilarating adventure takes you flying across the magnificent Molitene river three times and walking trails lead you deep into the rainforest. Our expert naturalist guides will show you the way, helping you make the most of the adventure and unlocking the secrets of the rainforest. The tour consists of 7 zip lines with 6 platforms in between the stretches which provide the possibility of admiring a 360 degree view of the surrounding forest. The first cable starts from a ground platform and stretches 80 meters across Molinete River onto a Caobilla tree platform 12 meters above ground. From here a 140 meter cable runs across the river and over an island and finalizing at the base of a ridge to a ground platform. We walk to the next cable which brings us from the ridge to the middle of a gigantic tree known as Tostado. This tree is endemic to this area and is very rare. Once atop this tree platform we transport ourselves via a 90 meter cable to another Caobilla tree located at the edge of the river. Cable brings us back to land where we follow the trail to the main road or back up to the start to do it again!

Canopy Urbano

Ubicación: Parque Metropolitano La Sabana, San José centro.

Duración: 1 hora aproximada.

Descripción: el recorrido se lleva a cabo por 7 cables y un puente colgante llamado “monkey ladder”, nuestro cable más sorprendente es el que pasa el lago de La Sabana con un aproximado de recorrido de hasta los 200 metros, desde el momento que se abordan las instalaciones, nuestro guías experimentados estarán a cargo de brindarle tanto seguridad como mucha diversión, haciendo de su recorrido un viaje inolvidable, Qué esperas atrévete!!!
